May I have instructions on hoe to use this to mine data from websites?  My goal is to have it extract the name, email address of people with resumes at job board sites, C and P to clip board and upload to my contact manager.  Can you help me?

Yes, I'm annoyed by this, too.
Will be fixed in the next version.

OK, it's not a bug. Smiley

You saved the stopwords.txt in the 8-bit ANSI encoding, which has two problems:

(1) You lost some German accented letters. (Check out the words after "most"). ANSI generally doesn't support international characters.
(2) Smereka requires the UTF-8 encoding and won't open ANSI. (Granted that the error message is misleading.)

You should save the file in the UTF-8 encoding.

Hi Hepta,

I just reproduced the problem on your file. Looks like a bug. Please disregard the previous message.

Hi Admin

There is no sharing conflict.
If you like, look at the attachment.

Hi Hepta,

There is no limit of the number of strings in stopwords.txt.

Please check if you closed the file in your text editor before launching Smereka. If you didn't, a sharing violation will prevent Smereka from opening stopwords.txt.

Dear Admin

Do you know?

When you are searching in the database and find an attachment item like a picture.
You see three panes (tabs): left the tree, right up the search results and down the item view.
So you click the "Edit the file using the default program and see the picture (let's say in IrfanView). You close IrfanView after looking at and return to Smereka.

The last line in the Item view Pane is "You're now editing the file in an external program. Press "Finished" when you're done."
But you can not reach the "finished"-Button because the panes are 50% at default. So you have to resize the down pane manually or maximize the pane. But next time it would be the same.
Is it possible to set the panes permanently for example to 30% for the result pane and 70% for the item view pane or having a scroll possibility.

Hi Admin

I have another question.
Is there a item limitation with the "stopwords.txt "
I tried to mix german and english stopwords (309 items), wrote into the file with an ordinary ascii editor (notetab), but the program mentioned "Could not find stopwords.txt. The database may increase"
I did't alter the file name.
